  Amazing customer service, love their online banking mobile capture feature! No hidden fees and requirements to maintain an account. I've been banking with them since '96 and can't imagine ever closing my accounts!!

  After 19 years of holding accounts with 1st Bank, a hold was placed on a check (issued by a large well-known bank) that I needed to cash during a family emergency. A 1st Bank representative told me over the phone early in the morning that I would be able to cash the check that day for the full amount, but I was later told by this branch supervisor that was not possible without speaking to the other bank. If I had been told of this, I could have easily set up communication between the banks immediately, instead of having to wait over the weekend. Due to the serious effects of this misinformation and then this supervisor's decision, my grown children and I will close all of our 1st Bank accounts and choose another that will serve us better.
